BPop-Punk

Pop punk is often called the ‘little brother of Punk Rock’. It comes from the mixture of Pop and Punk Rock, and its sound could be defined as a more commercial Punk or softer Punk.

The songs has some kind of alternative vibe that is mixed with the melodies of pop and the rhythms of Punk, using chord changes and strong guitar playing.

It became really popular in the 90s and early 00s, and it is coming back again now. The lyrics often have the gloomy dark side of grunge lyrics but also speak about society problems and everyday situations in an optimistic attitude.
