Influence on society
Reggae became a cultural bomb but not only in Jamaica but in the whole world. His lyrics, their slow jerky rhythm, their rebellious appearance has contributed to develop social movements especially in Europe, USA and Africa.

Impacted in the western music like punk, rock and pop. By the end of 1970s it influenced African singers like Alpha Blondy and Tiken Jah Fakloy.
This music impressed in foreign countries thanks to the immigration of thousands of Jamaican, except with Africa that it was because most of Jamaican has African origins and that’s why it had a strong impact in African culture.
