A brief history of Salsa

Is a popular social dance originated in New York with the influence of Colombia, Cuba and Puerto Rico.  The movements have its origins in Cuba Son, Cha cha cha and Mambo.

 

 

it was created in mid 1970s. It has haved many variations over the years including elements from Afro Cuban and Afro Caribbean dances like Guaguanco and Pachanga.

 

 

Salsa Dances are commonly held in night clubs, bars, resturants and outside especially in outdoor festivals. Is an international dance that can be found in most metropolitan cities in the world.
